CHP Systems Designed For Efficiency and Reliability
At Toromont Power Systems, we understand what it takes to deliver a successful Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system. It starts with a core machine that is designed for efficiency and reliability.
Our staff of multi-disciplined professional engineers are ready to assist you in the selecting a CHP system that will suit your needs and help design a Request For Proposal (RFP) for your client.
Toromont Power Systems offer CHP modules that recover the heat from the engine jacket and aftercooler water circuits, and/or from the exhaust gas. We provide a standard or customized CHP design to match your customers’ needs with the cooling configuration, system pressures, and temperatures associated with each CHP system.
Whether operating on natural gas, biogas, or manufactured gas, Toromont Power Systems can provide switchgear controls that match regional requirements. All controls are microprocessor-based with redundant backup master controls through the individual generator control processors. A complete fuel train equipment is available to meet the specific needs of your project.
Toromont Power Systems will analyze your fuel sample to ensure compliance with the CHP systems fuel requirements over time. For both natural gas and low energy fuel applications, Toromont Power Systems can provide containerized power plants that include complete CHP systems, paralleling controls, cooling system, oil system, and ventilation for various ambient environments. Custom containers are offered for arctic grade -40°C (-40°F) and high ambient project locations up to 50°C (122°F).
As you look through our CHP systems we have provided specifications, technical details, drawings, and flow diagrams for all our products.
